ECML John Trim Fellowship opens
News from Oct 09, 2013
One of the CEL/ELC's partner organisations, the European Centre for Modern Languages (ECML, based in Graz), recently released another call for a 3-month fellowship which the ECML is offering from 7 January - 31 March 2014.
The John Trim fellowship has been established in honour of the former Director of the Council of Europe's Modern Languages Projects and co-author of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The fellowship targets innovative developments in language learning and teaching seeking to support the implementation of the principles and pathways described in the CEFR. The fellowship will focus on two ECML publications:
- the European Portfolio for Student Teachers of Languages (EPOSTL) and
- the Framework of Reference for Pluralistic approaches to Languages and Cultures (FREPA)
The fellow is expected to investigate their practical application in teaching and learning and in teacher education.
The French version of the attached documents are available in the news section on ECML's website: http://www.ecml.at/News3/tabid/643/language/fr-FR/Default.aspx
The call for the fellowship and application form are available in English in the left-hand margin of this website.
The deadline for applications is the 25 October 2013.
